Ludi Construction, Inc. wants everyone to be able to learn about our work and reach our team. We design and build this website with the goal of meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What we have done
- Semantic page structure with headings, landmarks and a skip link.
- Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus indicators.
- Descriptive alternative text for photographs and descriptions for video.
- Silent background videos that can be paused at any time, and that stay still when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Labeled form fields with clear instructions, and no CAPTCHA puzzles.
- Text sizes and color contrast chosen for readability, and layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and zoom.
Known limitations
Our video clips are short, silent walkthroughs of finished rooms, so they have no captions; each has a written description. Some older project photographs from our archive have simpler descriptions than newer ones, and we are improving them.
